A new partnership between The Retail Trust and Personal Group aims to bring added support and wellbeing benefits to the three million people working in the British retail sector.
The initiative builds on support already in place from The Retail Trust, which includes counselling and financial help for retail workers. It will see Personal Group providing mobile access to the Retail Trust’s wellbeing services, retail discounts and communications tools.
Karen Thornley, chief commercial officer, Personal Group, commented: “We’ve always been a big supporter of British retail – and we’re delighted to officially partner with the Retail Trust. Retail workers have remained on the front line throughout the pandemic and now, more than ever it is key for employers to deliver a wide range of benefits and support to attract and maintain the best staff. Together, we will be creating a brighter future for the sector.”
Chris Brook Carter, chief executive of the Retail Trust, added: “The millions of people working in British retail have been heavily impacted financially, emotionally and physically during the entire course of the pandemic and as a charity, we are always looking for new ways to enhance our wellbeing offer and continue building hope, health and happiness across the sector.
“Our partnership with Personal Group is one way of doing this, as it will provide thousands of employees with valuable new tools and resources for both at work and home.”
